My name is Keith McKenna, I am an appreciator of all kinds of music! from the moment my father cued up a record put headphones over my ears as a young child and played me Jackson Browne 'late for the sky' and then asked me "what does that song mean to you" I have dived deep into the world of music. Rock & Roll and singer songwriters constantly playing in our apt. in Queens NYC, Hip Hop all around me in the streets outside, techno and house in the raves and clubs as a young adult.
developing a slow study of jazz, seeking out independent wall of sound shows by many great bands in small places to many fantastic festivals.
And of course always coming back to my headphones, to vinyl, and my beloved iPod.
Also the power of jamming tunes in my car. A good mix on a road trip, or cruising through the city, driving home from work up the canyon...finding that song, that album to suit my mood, or to change my state. or to celebrate life and rock out windows open, Alive!!! I love music. Thanks
