Mailo, (Siyamthanda Thomas) originally from Khayelitsha was smitten by the waves and melodies of music at a tender age. He discovered his passion and took an adventure that has been fulfilling to him, i.e being a musician, Dj and a producer. He couldn’t have done this without the formal training that he acquired at San Fransis. However, due to lack of financial resources he was forced to drop out. Nonetheless, that did not deter Mailo to pursue his musical career. His sound encapsulate a raw, crisp take on dark melodic bass driven songs filled with dynamic drops and clean breaks. Mixing a range of deep elements and afro house, he ushers the crowd on an adventure through frequency.
