At 14 years old living in north London introduced to jazz funk and disco via a friends brother that bought US imports. Funny thing back then there where lots of discos, club events for under 16s so with the djs buying US imports and my new interest in the genre BOOM my first 12in single Six million steps then my love for jazz and all its sub genres started. At that time the iconic track Dancing in out of space came out and I was hooked. later I would attend the mighty Royalty in Southgate North London under 16 again on Wednesday and that introduced to the Mafia Froggy Chris Hill etc they went on to start the amazing Caster Soul Weekender which I attended lots of times including with Paul Murphy and Onward international that's another story. So my Journey begins.
