Ryan Ruel, also known as Morgan, is a DJ and producer whose love of electronic sound began in the 80s experimenting with the SID chip on his Commodore 64. Classically trained on piano, he grew up drawn to the deeper underground styles shaped by DJs like Digweed, Sasha, Howells, Pappa, and Tenaglia. In 2005 he picked up his own decks, eventually landing a long‑running semi‑monthly residency at Rise in Boston, crafting late‑night sets built on groove and atmosphere. Today his sound blends progressive house, techno, and dub techno, driven by a lifelong curiosity for exploring the space where mood, texture, and technology meet.
