Robert T. Palmer is an active researcher and assistant professor of Student Affairs Administration at the State University of New York, Binghamton. His research examines
issues of access, equity, retention, persistence, and the college experience of racial and ethnic minorities, particularly Black men as well as other student groups at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Since completing his PhD in 2007, Dr. Palmer’s work has been published in national referred journals, and he has authored well over 65 refereed journal articles, book chapters, and other academic publications in four years.
