With over 20 years of experience, Rob Bliss has established himself as an expert in both open-format and genre-specific sets. Since the 1990s, he has perfected his craft in Jungle/Drum & Bass, Rap, House, ‘80s, UK Garage, and more. The Bay Area, California native hosted his first Saturday night mix show from 1997-2000 and landed residencies in San Francisco, San Jose, and Los Angeles between 1999 and 2002. That same year, he took 2nd place in the Asindee Jungle Battle in San Francisco, thanks to the showmanship developed through his adherence to battle principles originating in Hip-Hop’s DJ culture.
Citing DJ Qbert, DJ Hype, and R.A.W. as some of his biggest influences, Rob Bliss released his first solo material on London’s Highly Swung Records in 2016, but has been putting out music with collaborators for nearly a decade. Rob Bliss plans to use 2017 to release original music.
