Stellenbosch born and bread and now residing in the heart of Cape Town, Reign Carol has been in the industry for at least 10 years. He started making music in 2005 then started DJing the following year.
The name Reign Carol comes from his name Thembinkosi '-nkosi' (king) which he switched around to Reign and Carol technically means to sing.
