Founded in 2007, Projekt International (aka Projekt Mke) became a promise and a vision for the future of contemporary American underground house and techno culture through national and international promotion and events, a podcast roster of international artists and a passionate goal to raise the profile of underground and avant-garde techno and house music in North America.

From their debut monthly club night that introduced a focus on minimal house and techno sounds, a first in their home of Milwaukee, Wisconsin at that time, to their unique urban loft and warehouse parties, to large-scale concert hall events featuring top tier underground techno and house music showcases, Projekt International had brought to Milwaukee and Chicago the likes of Richie Hawtin, Maetrik, Gaiser, Dilo, Ambivalent, Pezzner, JPLS, Dario Zenker, Skoozbot and so many more.
