I'm the host of SOUND TRAVELS, a radio show featuring new and recent jazz releases, on radio.D59B.com. Broadcast on the first Wednesday of every month & archived on the radio station SoundCloud feed or via their site.
I have lived internationally for 20 years which given me the chance to host dj residencies in Canada, the UK, Finland and Germany. Currently, I live in Istanbul, Turkey.
I am using this account for Maple Heat, a mix series which is focused on showcasing the often overlooked and under-appreciated world of Canadian jazz recordings. Most of these recordings were pressed on vinyl between 1960 and 1990, including both commercial and non-commercial releases.
