25+ years of mixing and blending tunes in popular clubs throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, Nsw & Melbourne... I've got to be doing something right! hmmmm wonder what this big black round shiny thing does..... :P
Starting off from small beginings as the clown "the silver surfer" on popular brisbane radio station 97.3 Wild Fm in the mid 90's, phunkn saw some his soon to be home grown idols and peers, do what they loved best spinning tunes to the masses & making seemless transitional mixes for those who wanted to listen, and wanted in.
Since then phunkn has worked hard developing his craft and ability, and has now played in popular venues throughout brisbane, gold coast, nsw central coast, sydney & melbourne.
After a 12 month break phunkn has re-emerged with a new found passion for new age funk/ breaks & Nu Disco, but still loves to drop the bass with his unique style of vocal melodic prog house.
