Hailing from Wales, Gruv Cult founder Owain Lawrence has developed a distinctive sound built around deep grooves, rolling rhythms and intricate, ear-catching melodies.

His journey behind the decks has taken him across the UK and to Melbourne, Australia, where he became a regular presence on the renowned Chapel Street scene. Along the way, Owain has held residencies on both sides of the globe and shared line-ups with some of the scene’s respected names, including Joris Voorn, Maya Jane Coles, Andrea Oliva, Steve Lawler and many more.

Now based around his own vision, Owain is the driving force behind Gruv Cult — a platform built around deep, groove-led house music, intimate events and a strong underground identity.
