Growing up in the 70s/80s I first heard Street Sounds Electro Crucial when I was 12 and that got me into Breakdancing, Hip Hop and Scratching on my mums old record player.
As a teen i started playing about with Synths, Samplers and Drum machines and by writing a variety of different synth programs allowed me to produce a good few electronic tracks which were great for chilling out too.... Jean Michelle Jarre inspired me and seeing the Acorn Archimedes in action got me addicted to Remixing. NNNNN Nineteen.
Earrly 90s I got my first Technics 1210s and became part of Northern Irelands Underground Dance Music scene. This is when Terrorism was high in NI with many innocents losing their lives but Dance music brought everyone together.
Dance music changed Northern Ireland back then and i was happy to be part of it.
After that I got Married, sold my studio equipment to build a house and had a family.
Now I use Propellor Reason Professional Studio Software Suite when the kids let me.
