Mr. Livewire grew up absorbing House and Detroit Techno as a teenager in Glasgow. With regular visits to two legendary clubs nights, Friday nights at Pure at the Venue, Edinburgh and The Sub Club's Subculture in Glasgow.
These experiences and many more left Livewire totally mesmerized by the sound of the 1st and 2nd wave Detroit pioneers. Not to mention the quality Deep House sound coming out of Chicago at the time.
This eventually led to the purchase of two SL1200 mk2 turntables back in 1994 (after saving up what felt like forever!!.)
Mr. Livewire put out his first record in September 2004 on Lady D's D'lectable Music imprint. Other artists on the label have included; Glenn Underground, Jamie Principle, E Smoove, Mel Hammond and more.
With a deep interest in Post Production and Mastering, Livewire has had the opportunity to master various Ep's for Ben Parkinson's Boe Recordings Imprint, for artists including: Keith Wadsworth, Kink and David Labeij.
