From Oslo, Norway.
Educated as Sound Engineer at the Nordic Institute of Studio and Stage.

Got the big interest for electronic/house music after hearing Rhythim is Rhythim - Strings of Life by Derrick May.
Oslo´s house and rave scene had just started out, and grew fast in early 90-ies, and Morten Mortez became a regular.
A couple of years later he got his first two Technics SL 1210 turntables, started mixing vinyl and got some small gigs.
He had his first years as active Dj in oslo from 1998-2003.

Morten Mortez then had a break to become a fully comitted father to his beautiful daughter Julie.
But feeling sound waves of house music where strong, the 1210´s was spinning.
2013 his daughter Julie started school and Morten started mixing every day again.
First "vinyl only", but updating to digital mixing equipment was a priority.

Now talent, creativity and expirience makes Morten Mortez comeing back stronger than ever.
