DJ Mo Heeto's journey into the world of music began with crafting mixtapes on cassette ( for those that ‘know’, the pencil ✏️ was an indispensable tool).
He honed his skills in audio production and mixing at a prominent radio station, and soon became a mobile DJ, playing at parties, weddings, festivals, and even on trains and boats. His sets have been the catalyst for new romances, heartbreaks, newborns and unforgettable nights, leaving partygoers with two-day hangovers and vows to swear off the drink—at least for a week.
Initially infatuated with disco, funk and northern soul, Mo's passion has degenerated into a proclivity for deep, vocal, melodic drum and bass—preferably sweet, heart wrenchingly pretty and on occasion, dirty love songs.
Known for his 'late afternoon/sunset set' magic, Mo lives by the mantra: "Just play what thafuk you love and the rest will happen."
