"Something Completely Different" is a radio program on CJRU The Scope. You can hear every Sunday and Tuesday night at 10PM EST at http://www.thescopeatryerson.ca . Later in 2015, you will be able to hear it on AM radio (yes, AM radio!) in the downtown Toronto Area. Here on Mixcloud, you can hear podcasts of each show. The DJ, Dr. Henry Warwick, is a professor at Ryerson University and all around pretty cool guy. He plays a many different kinds of music within every show - classical, jazz, avant garde, ambient, folk, world music, and even some progressive rock and electronic music, often by lesser known artists. As the shows are devoid of a stylistic centre, they become adventurous and evocative emotional journeys - each show takes you someplace, so that whatever you are doing, you have an eclectic and amazing soundtrack.
