Mike Step is a producer and Dj from Johannesburg, South Africa

He produces anything that can be described as minimal, tech, dubstep, progressive and electronic! One thing that shines through in his music is a cheerful and uplifting vibe with twisted and funky beats, smooth basslines, exciting synths, juicy grooves and skillful production techniques!

His productions always include some kind of abstract funkiness and fresh feeling to them. Trying to keep his style pure, special and unique.

He has produced tacks such as Bounce, We're Transcending, Haters make us famous and many more.. including remixes and DJ sets.

Mike Step has recently incorporated a drummer into the "LIVE" aspect of his performances, Mike has been gigging since 2009 and his performances range from large scale international events like Arts Fest 2010 & 2011, Bushfire Festival as well as a tour in London and many many local clubs!
