Mike De Witt started as 'DJ Mikey D' back in 1999 after picking up a pair of turntables and a box of hip-hop records.
In 2005, he began playing at clubs and parties which he did for 5 years, until finding his new home in the underground & psy scene.
Mike spins a huge variety of styles covering all corners of the Trance, House, Techno spectrum and every performance is entirely improvised and crafted to fit the theme and flow of the event.
Mike is proficient in both vinyl and digital formats and is a true believer in the classic techno-shamanistic concept of “the set as a journey”.
Mike prefers to mix up the many styles rather than stick to one formula. Depending on the time slot and nature of the event, he is known for breaking into hard trance, dark prog, the more sophisticated side of full-on, the cold mechanical sound of tech-trance, and the pumping energy of progressive.
Mike is right at home in any habitat whether it is in a dark club, derelict warehouse or lush bushland.
