Marius Stan was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, and has spent much of his adult life in Germany and Western Europe. In his travels he has been exposed to diverse cultures, peoples and surroundings, and through his experiences has acquired a sense for both the conventional and unconventional. This all reflects itself in his art.
