I love electronic music. It all started in '94 when I stumbled on a Sasha set on the radio late one night, whilst looking for John Peel - life changing! Next came Garage, Jungle and Drum 'n Bass, but I loved the Trance and House too. Then Progressive Break Beat seemed to offer the promise to tie it all together - epic, vocal trance along with wicked beats and filthy sub-bass.
Finally, at some point in the naughties, progressive drum 'n bass crawled out of it's own arse & taking itself so seriously - so Liquid Drum 'n Bass had arrived. Finally, the genre I had always been looking for! But there was more - what I first wrote off as teenage 'ed-bangin' music - Dubstep - has finally come of age, delivering a sound that I just can't stop listening to! Dirty beats and filthy, wobble bass along with twisted arpeggios and beautiful synths - top it all of with some top notch vocals and I'm good to go!
