I was Chicago born in 1970 and raised in Markham from '73 to '86. I've always had an affinity for collecting vinyl ...from Sesame Street to James Brown to Barry White. In '84 I had the 'House' bug planted by Rodney 'Murf E' Varnado and the same year, started experimenting with blending. By '87 I had my own set of 1200s and started making my own noise, and called myself Luis "Loco" Melecio. In '91 I took on the name Dj Fuego and tried to reinvent myself. Then I took a 6 year break in '95 to get my life back in order (...as I had kids by that time). In '02 I slowly started back up, until a fire in my house robbed me of all my vinyl and equipment in '05. In '07, Murf E stepped in again, and introduced me to the Digital realm (...as I felt it pointless to try and replace all the vintage vinyl I lost).
