Offered the opportunity of playing the iconic 100 Club back in October 2017, Lee Ainley’s Blues Storm jumped at the chance of taking the band on to a new level.
Since then, driven partly by two youngest members, the band have transformed themselves from playing one of the most eclectic sets of blues-based music to writing their own material.
With a five track EP recorded at the Brighton Road Recording Studio, the band have created a raft of exciting original songs with roots still firmly in the Blues, but with massive influence from the likes of Rival Sons, the Temperance Movement and Vintage Trouble. The songs are delivered with the unique added dimension of joint female lead vocals from mother and daughter Lee and Tori, and embellished with some stunningly creative lead guitar work from Elliot.
The EP was given its live debut at the band’s successful January appearance at Brighton’s Komedia, supporting The Brew to an incredible response from their local fanbase.
