With a passion for music history, Junior Otamon searches into the journey of cultural exchange known as the "round trip". This exploration covers the African rhythms that spread through the Americas, their subsequent evolution, and their resurgence in selected regions of Africa during the latter half of the 20th century.
Having performed across Europe, South America, and the USA, Junior Otamon has collaborated with artists like Vieux Farka Touré, Seun Kuti, Max Romeo, Tinariwen, Bombino, Groundation, Ozomatli, Izo Fitzroy, Mica Paris, Justin Adams, Juldeh Camara, Gorgol Bordello, Daniela Mercury and many more.
