Bristol born Producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ, J-Felix cut his teeth in an eclectic range of bands and musical projects including playing guitars for Alice Russell and in studio with Wrongtom and The Ragga Twins, Ibibio Sound Machine and Swindle
After releasing his debut P-Funk, soul and Boogie laced album on Tru Thoughts in June 2015, J-Felix received massive support from NME – 8/10, BBC6 radio, Don Letts, Huey Morgan, Nemone Texas and Mary Anne Hobbs as well as Apple Music. Remixes for label mates, Werkha and the Hot 8 brass band also soon followed as well as production for UK soulstress, Harleighblu and Abi Flynn. His follow up 2016 release, ‘The Runaway’ EP also received a lot of love from BBC6 music and club DJ’s.
Live J-Felix and band have played sold out shows with the likes of George Clinton, Hot 8 brass band, Chinese Man and Soul ll Soul..
