Jeroen Robbertsen (1969) has been fascinated by music his whole life. At the age of 7 he starts listening to Jean Michel Jarre, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Vangelis and Pink Floyd following the start of piano lessons at the age of 8. After a short break during highschool he continues to attend piano lessons at the age of 17 which is shortly followed by the purchase of his first synthesizer, the Roland Juno 106. Robbertsen gradually expands his bedroom studio to escape into his own dreamworld by creating soundscapes and compositions. In his spare time he studies music theory at the Schumann academy for four years (major piano). In this theoretical part of conservatory he studies subjects like music history, harmony, solfège, composition and music analysis.
