Toronto, Canada
In the beginning there was a guitar and a young Toronto boy of just 6 years of age pretending to be a rock star. Jump forward a few years and JC found himself buying his first record, ‘The Whistle Song’ by the legendary Frankie Knuckles. This was the seed from which his record buying habit and passions for djing sprung. JC soon became part of the dynamic duo Vinyl Thieves and had the honour to be on the same bill with the likes of Mark Farina, Sneak, Roy Davis Jr, the late great Kenny Hawkes and amazing Toronto locals like Jason Hodges and Nathan Barato. He still DJs today and he cites his influences as everything from Prince, Michael Jackson, Herbie Hancock through to The Neptunes, Timbaland and Kanye as well as a host of House music names from the classic Chicago house era right up to the newer jackin / tech house scenes. Fast forward to the present and have releases on Monster Disco Records and future releases for 2017, so get ready for a journey of this beat we call house!
