I've always regarded being apart of the first wave of dance culture a privilege. We grew up with dance electronica not really knowing where it could or would take us. In hindsight we were truly spoilt for choice as many different genres and innovations were spawned along with the development of the clubbing experience. In those early years there was a true sense of freedom and expression. There were no labels, no barriers and no fear to just be yourself. Drawing people from all walks of life, club culture in it's early days gave us an adventure. It provided us with life long memories filled with those emotive lyrics and harmonies that truly made the early days of House music uncomparable to any other era.
A big thank you to all the gifted dj's who share their hard work for the love of music....
House music all night long! :)
