"The global education of people through the love of music" a quote I heard many years ago that rang true with me. I love how music knows no borders and always brings people together. As a child of the 70's growing up in a household where in one room there would be Rock, Soft Rock and another there was R&B, Soul, Funk and Disco. I grew to love many genres and at the age of 12 began making mix tapes with a jam box and double cassette player. I loved programming songs for a variety of audiences but mainly for myself and girlfriends (duhh). Growing up through the 80's and experiencing New Wave and the birth of Hip-Hop, I've had the fever ever since. Later in the 90's came Break Beat and House and Techno. In the early 2000's the discovery of Trip-Hop, Acid Jazz, Downtempo brought new avenues of expression and in 2010 a love of world beats found it's way into my library. This page reflects my life's journey with music exposing it's roots, branches and leaves. In Joy ~~P.L.U.R.
