According to Indian thought , music builds character in man and it is a message of consolidation peace and hope. Music moulds the habits, teaches moral and gives strength. It is considered as the source of knowledge, joy and confort. It is believed that one can attain liberation and the divinity in man through music. Music is regarded as the live giving tonic; because it lifts up man to celestial heights if practiced with devotion and intense "Bhakti" from the book: "The heritage of musical instruments"
