My parents had a pretty awesome record collection, music was always a part of life. Deep cut classic rock...80's Joel, Elton John....a lot of show tunes. I was grunge. I was hip hop. I met KRS-One at a show in BTV, he told me I was real, I believed him. B-boyed on stage with Talib Kweli, had dinner with Mickey from The Who. In the early 90's I listened to a bunch of random UK Garage. Bought mixes by Frankie Bones and Fatboy Slim, Leftfield, Sasha & Digweed. Spiderwebs....Daft Punk. AM, Aoki....I scoured the Internet for mash-ups.....Electrosound, Schmolli. I listened to AVB and the big trance sounds. I saw PVD play Central Park NYC, Fedde play Sensation White and Deadmau5 unveil The Cube. Always spiderwebbing. I love dance music and how it brings people together. I have always been drawn to the sound, searching for great tracks and listening to them on repeat when I find them...layering them, dissecting them, dancing to them.
