The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band and Neil Innes.

Neil Innes has made a great album entitled 'Innes Own World - The Best Bits - Part One'. Henry engages in a live phone-in with Neil who discusses key moments from his life in music, film, and television - alongside his new CD.Graduating from Goldsmiths Art College in 1965, Innes formed the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band who became a children's favourite on ITV as a part of the pre-Python cast of Do Not Adjust Your Set, whilst entertaining the burgeoning psychedelic London scene by night at clubs such as UFO, alongside the Pink Floyd and the Soft Machine, etcetera. Paul McCartney produced Innes'(1968) Bonzo's hit I'm The Urban Spaceman (a top 5 hit in the U.K) under the alias of Apollo C Vermouth. Innes went on to work with Monty Python for BBC TV, and later went on to appear in their movies. For more about Neil Innes and the Rutles go to www.innesbookofrecords.com and http://neilinnes.org
