Born with the name Jeffrey Jeff, given to him by his parents. So he was destine to be a Dj. The nickname HellaJeff was given to him by a group of friends on the way to EDC. It stuck and was very catchy so he took on that name forward. He style and influences are very Hip-Hop like with samples and drop to keep all type of crowd entertain. His love of music was engrain into him very early since he idolize a lot of Dj from the break dance era, they can move the dance floor and energize the crowd. He started Dj-ing in the early 2000 with local clubs then moved on to San Francisco in 2006. After many challenges he left music to pursue a bigger propose. He joined the Navy Search & Rescue team in 2008 till 2012, but the itch for music has always been there. Even tho serving the country was meaningful, he felt something else was missing. No matter what he did or doing, music has always been his passion. After the attempt to escape it, it drew him back. Today he is on rotation in SF at Club Fam
