He’s a young DJ who produces electronic dance music with a sound understanding of what it takes to make the dance floor move.
The genre of his sets ranges from house to deep techno. Thus said, they incorporate swing, groove and plenty of dirty bass lines.
The mastermind behind the pseudonym Hackey is Manuel Häcki from Zurich, Switzerland. Manuel used to be a passionate footballer and learned to play the classic French horn in his past. Coming up listening to Rock and Hip Hop, he first got involved with the electronic music scene by accident and fell in love with it instantly! After getting all the equipment together and working on his skills on the turntables, he decided compose his own music. Ever since then, he’s been passionately working on his developments as a Producer & DJ. With influences from all kinds of different genres like House, Techno, Minimal, Rock, Hip Hop, Reggae, etc., he’s constantly searching for new and unique sounds to create fresh music.
