Eric Reyes, also known as Gruve, discovered his love for music at an early age and was influenced by a variety of genres including Reggae, Punta, Calypso, Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, and R&B. His diverse musical taste is evident in the numerous mixes he has shared on various websites.
In the late 90s, Gruve worked as a Disc Jockey, but he took a 12-year hiatus to serve in the United States Air Force. After receiving an honorable discharge, his passion for music continued to call him back to DJ’ing.
Since returning to DJ’ing, Gruve has performed at several house parties and events around Houston and the surrounding areas. He is dedicated to providing the perfect musical experience for his audience, catering to their preferences, and creating an enjoyable atmosphere.
Gruve's love for music is a driving force behind his DJ career, outside of an occasional mobile gig he prefers to focus on internet radio where he continues to impress audiences with his talent and passion.
