Coding—you probably have a picture in your mind of someone typing furiously on a keyboard, with a screen filled with words and phrases that make no sense. If this is what you envision, it's because mainstream media has made coding look more like The Matrix, but in reality it really isn't.
Learning to code is very similar to learning a new spoken language. Once you speak one well, you can use it to form conversations and build relationships with others. Coding is the same in that once you learn how to code a language, you can form conversations with your computer and build websites/apps/etc. It is an awesome feeling being able to manipulate a computer and create new things, and is highly lucrative as well.
Computer Science once was as a subject that most couldn't even dabble in until high school at the earliest, with many not being able to until college. Now, we are seeing an insurgence of computer programming in the classroom as early as elementary school, with companies like Code Spar
