fortunea is a mixture of the words Fortuna (the goddess of fortune and the personification of luck in Roman religion) and tune.
The label is based in Vienna, Austria and was established by the dj and producer Klaus Benedek.
Their music can be categorised in the house music genre and subgenres. Many artists from the Viennese electronic music scene contributed works on the imprint. Such as the Janefondas, Peletronic, Roman Rauch, Lukas Poellauer, Schampus Ghost & Anemona, Nick Hanzo, Alex Kolodziej and many more. The releases are available on vinyl and digital.
