All tracks by Ed Lodge
Based in Penrith, Cumbria, UK.
FRYR is the creative itch that needed to be scratched, of producer/DJ Ed Lodge.
Inspiration for this project stretches all the way back to the dance floors of the Hacienda, Hard Times and Cream, amongst others. From summers in Ibiza to years of being a vinyl junkie and an endless stream of mixtapes handed out to anyone who wanted to dance.
Influenced by artists like Roger Sanchez, Armand Van Helden, and Daft Punk. The aim is to craft music for hot dance floors. With releases coming out in 2024 on Sleepless, Headfire International, and Atlantic Traxx. Seven of my tracks, 'Never Forget' (30/4/22) 'Kaar-nuh-vuhl' (2/7/22 & 20/10/2023), Deep (One kiss) (18 & 20/8/22), Don't Say (27/8/2022 & 19/8/2023), Space Traveller (27/1/2023), Give me... (22 & 24/06/2023) and Let it in (14/10/2023) have all featured on BBC Introducing Cumbria. I have also been a featured artist and produced a mix for BBC Introducing featuring 5 tracks.
