In a few words: Eclectic. Cathartic. Wild. Emotional. Fun.
I'm a resident DJ at Dallas Movement Collective (formerly Ecstatic Dance Dallas) and I have been creating ecstatic dance journeys since 2009. I began by simply crossfading in iTunes playlists, and evolved over time into a DJ and producer. I'm a classical pianist inspired by a wide range of genres, and aim for my mixes to take people on a journey that traverses the expected and unexpected, to access both the known and unknown within one's self. My hope is that my mixes create the space for people to break both physical and mental patterns and achieve catharsis for stuck energy.
My waves start slow and meditative, gradually build a beat and heat, crescendo to a batshit crazy peak, gently descend back to earth, and settle into stillness.
