Carl Mansell is a music producer from Manchester, now based in Hull. working under the name of EASTLAND because of is beloved Manchester city.
Carl started has a drummer in the late 80s playing for many bands during the great days of the Manchester dance scene, even then he was creating some good tunes under the name of BASSLAB,
after moving to Hull Carl wrote some music for local amature film productions, and did several gigs under the name of EASTLAND before prefering to stick in the studio writing, after 20 years on the road drumming. There is not a strict genre to eastlands music, with influences from underworld. the prodigy and chemical brothers and many more Carl would love to do more incidental music in the future. Now working under the Random Reasons name.
