Jay Wearden has been at the vanguard of the Manchester music scene since the early days of Acid House.
Jay came to prominence at the infamous Thunderdome as resident with after hour sessions at the Blackburn Warehouse scene where he became known for his fearless left field and unique harder edged sound before moving on to promote and DJ at the legendary Hippos which was a techno and breakbeat church to many.

He continues to promote and DJ regularly at a string of outstanding MCR clubs such as Hidden and The Loft as well as curating a string of unique musical "events"at stunning historical spaces such as Victoria Baths, Manchester Monastery and Manchester Cathedral which encompass DJing alongside world class contemporaries, infamous PAs and classical renderings of techno and house in a Jay Wearden style.

Expect an emotive, genre busting, multi-layered sets crossing through eras with lush soundscapes, powerful beats and deep dirty bass-lines.
