Mr. Dynamite,(DUZZY RIPWELL) born Duane Whorley, has played a major role in the local Hip-Hop scene for several years. He began his music career in 1994, as one of the original members of "Da Pack", a local Hip-Hop group that built a strong reputation for themselves in the Mid-Atlantic region. While with Da Pack, Mr. Dynamite performed three times at "Festival in the Park", "The Henry Street Festival", "The Black Family Reunion" festival in Washington D.C., and also made an appearance on 102 JAMZ....a local radio station out of Greensboro, NC. He has also opened for artists such as Rah Digga,Nappy Roots,and Bubba Sparxxx.He has also shared the stage and collaborated with such artists as Sadat X, Kaimbr,Kev Brown,Eternia,and Rapper Big Pooh Mr. Dynamite brings all of his knowledge and experience to the current local Hip-Hop scene as a performer/producer and plays a key role in the Roanoke Va HipHop scene.
