For over a decade now, Rod has remained one of the most well known and consistent djs in the city holding residencies or guest djing at almost every club in Toronto. From the instant success of his weekly residency ‘Pure Saturday Parties’ at the most popular club of the 90‘s Pallazzo’s, to djing and/or hosting events around the city. His non-stop DJing schedule has seen him straddling the city playing up to 20 gigs a month, while holding down a career in Advertising. Each artist has his own set of tools, for Rod Bravo they happen to include his Macbook Pro and an arsenal of exclusive tracks. Since the purchase of his first set of turntables (technics 1200’s) at the tender age of 17, Rod has worked relentlessly at developing his trademark style. Raised in Chile, then in Toronto, Rod was weaned on a musical diet of Latin rhythms, house, reggae and hip-hop. Hard to miss in his trendy outfits and signature baseball cap collection, it is even harder to mistake his sound.
