Meet DJ Markoshi. Living in Atlantic Canada in the forest, but haling from Toronto, Canada he is definitely a versatile DJ out there. Getting his first pair of turntables at the mere age of 14, he discovered a whole new world of music that was booming across Western Canada, house music. With watching shows on Much Music like Electric Circus, Markoshi wanted to be the one to get the crowd rocking. However, that was not the first time he was exposed to DJing. One of his mentors, and also uncle DJ Jun exposed Markoshi to this crowd rocking technique around the age of five. Markoshi would sit there during parties, watching his uncle and future mentor play to the crowd, creating excitement for those around him. Markoshi first started buying house records at local record shops, and started building his collection from there. Since then, he has evolved into other genres such as hip hop, garage, disco/funk, old school gems, dubstep and trap He can get everyone's ass shaking.
