Luis grew up in Los Angeles in the 1990s amidst a happening underground scene where his passion for house music was born. He started playing records in 1994 and by 1997, he landed his first club gig opening for Jimmy Van M at Club Kaya in Atlanta. His style was characterized and recognized by local promoters as a funky blend of house and techno beats with ambient breakdowns and dreamy soundscapes. Luis began securing gigs and playing various events, opening for many international headliners like Anthony Pappa and Steve Lawler. In 2004 Luis elevated his craft as well as his fan base by securing a weekly residency at Mint @ the Mark Ultralounge. In recent years Luis joined the ranks of resident DJ for Liquified and has openend for world-class talent such as Steve Lawler, Joris Voorn, Kazell, and his personal favorite: Sasha. You will find Luis hosting his own parties at top spots like The Sound Table and one-off parties throughout Atlanta and elsewhere.
