Taught myself how to mix back in 1981, on two mismatched turntables: one was the Technics SL-D1, the other a Technics SL-D202, both of which had dials as pitch controls. Our DJ group name was Fusion Mobile Dance Music, working out of Daly City and San Francisco, California. My business name, DJ KenFused, is meant as a tribute to that crew.
