Born in Ahmedabad, a Metropolitan city of Gujarat, India. If I was inside the house, you would find me sitting next to the radio until I got a hold of tapes that my uncle brought from America of all the 80s hits and that's where I became a fan of Disco and Michael Jackson. Finally when our family moved to a suburban city of Riverside in California, USA in 1995, I had my eyes opened to a whole different world of music and culture. They had moved on from the Moon Walking Michael Jackson to the C-Walking Snoop Dogg. Even though I didn't understand any of the slang, Hip-Hop was what exposed me to the lifestyle of my new home. My roots always drew me to what I grew up with but I found a happy medium in artists such as Bally Sagoo which opened the road to the all the Punjabi music. As soon as I found the power of the internet and Napster, I started downloading all different types of music and creating mixtapes and playing them at all the family parties and gatherings. It's all history now.
