Known as DJ Esgrove, Akseli Lukkarila is a truly versatile DJ with 16 years of experience behind the decks. Coming from a long background in dance, deejaying was a natural continuum to his love and passion for dance music in many styles and forms. As a club DJ and one half of Ruff Cut DJs, Esgrove has been performing all over Finland from intimate underground clubs to festival stages. The Ruff Cut radio show aired on the finnish Bassoradio FM continuously for close to eight years, showcasing street dance culture and music every other week. Currently, Esgrove can be heard on IDA Helsinki as part of the monthly ELEMENTS RADIO show. Esgrove is still active in the street dance scene and is known as the top voguing / ballroom DJ in Finland, and is a member of the Iconic House of Ninja.
