DJ DRN is the alter ego of Franck Mazueta. Native of Mexicali, Baja California, he started as drummer with friends covering spanish punk bands. Never out of the garage. Then he played the drums for the noise dance duo Stilletto and started getting DJ quipment for (DJ DRN) and contribute to the growing Baja's electronic music escene.

"I was born in Mexicali, a few years ago. I play the drums from my teenager days to date. I played in a couple of bands, then started DRN after finishing university. DRN means DROWN IN TECHNO. Because it was the first electronic music genre i liked to play. But i play diferent genres. I'm also teacher, bussiness man, drummer, ocassional photographer, writer and entrepeneur. I like to do excercise and eat pretty good food."
