My DJ career started in May 1991 with two belt drive turntables and a two channel Tandy mixer back in my first apartment in Queanbeyan shortly after I left home. Then I played at The Meridian Club in Canberra from March 1992 to November 1993. Not much paid venue work has happened since...I made up several hours of music for The Annual Fundraiser For AIDS Involved Research in 1994 and 1995 held at The Green Park Hotel in Darlinghurst near the famous Oxford Street...Yes almost all of my music is inspired from the classic old Oxford Street venues from about 1990 to 1995 particularly The Midnight SHIFT at 85 Oxford Street....Using this venue as my key inspiration I play a variety of House, Disco, Garage, Darkroom and Soul...DJs like Rob Davis, Paul Goodyear and the late Lance Douglass were my key inspirers of the time...And I invite you my dear listener to hopefully too be inspired through my rather long winded DJ soundscapes which I am planning on breaking into easy listen parts
