My exploration of music and dance has taken me on an exciting journey over the past 10 years and continues to provide many new opportunities for teaching and experiencing creative expression through movement. Growing up in Mexico, I was always surrounded by music, and when I reached New York in 2000, began to study dance for my own therapeutic benefit and later pursed it as a profession. In parallel, I studied hand percussion covering a range of different rhythms from Afro-Cuban to West African and Middle Eastern.

A professional dance teacher and performer with over 10 years of teaching experience in New York and Bangkok, my repertoire includes Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha, Bachata and Zumba. In addition to my passion for dance, I am also an experienced Deejay spinning Latin Beats (Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reggaeton, Latin House and Latin Hip Hop) as well as other genres of music including House, Funk, Disco, Hip Hop and Electronic Dance music.
